Swimming against the current of economic torpor, Hennes & Mauritz (H&M)
reported that its sales leapt an impressive 12 percent, or $5.7 billion, in the
third quarter. Same store sales for the Swedish retailer rose 4 percent in
August, after losing 1 percent in July. Total revenues have climbed 14 percent.
H&M plans to release.
